A vulpus victory some would say.
On Saturday 28th July we launched The Otterfox Almanac of Silly Rhymes. A book of silly and surreal rhymes which revolves around such subject matter as whistling up ladders, spinning cows, elves for hounds and the silliest man in the world.
A large crowd attended the event in the Nenagh Arts Centre in Tipperary and there was much fun had by all, including colouring competitions, photo-booth dress up, illustration demonstrations and readings by the author.
There were pages of stickers with many of the characters from the book available for purchase and of course the book itself, which was snapped up in record numbers.
We really enjoyed the day and it was wonderful to see so many people turn up to celebrate our launch.
We would like to extend a big thank you to all who attended the launch and of course. the Nenagh Arts Centre, The Nenagh Guardian newspaper and Tipp FM. All of whom were very supportive and helpful along the way.
I’m very much looking forward to my next event which will be readings from the book at the wonderful Sheelagh na Gig Summer Storytime which takes place in Cloughjordan on 18 – 19 August.
I hope to see you all there.
